Schedule your appointment
Therapeutic Massage is tailored to the specific goals and needs of each individual client. It’s a fully customized session based on what your body needs to reach your personal bodywork goals. Whether that means deep relaxation, pain relief, improved range of motion, or addressing chronic discomfort, each massage is adapted in real time using a combination of techniques.
Bodywork modalities utilized in session vary but are usually a combination of Myofascial Release (MFR), Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Range of Motion, and Assisted Stretching. Sessions are adapted in real time based on the body’s response rather than a preset routine; keeping your massage personalized and effective. Hot towels, hot stones, cupping, and IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization aka scraping) are other effective tools to enhance a session based on the needs of the client and how their body responds to the work.
Waitlist Bookings
If you’re unable to find an appointment time that works for your schedule, it’s recommended to join the waitlist for your preferred session length. (Option available once session length is selected).
Simply select the days and times you’re typically available. If a cancellation or opening becomes available that matches your preferences, our booking software will notify you so you can book the appointment.
Important to note : waitlist notifications do not hold appointments. The automated notification of an available appointment goes to all clients with matching waitlisted appointment preferences and are offered on a first come, first served basis; prompt responses are encouraged to book the available time before it is claimed by another client.
To secure a specific appointment time, booking 4–6 weeks in advance is recommended.
Clients who rebook during their appointment receive priority access to recurring time slots and the ability to book further into the future.
Myofascial Release is used to warm tissue, ease into relaxation, and open the body up to receive any needed deeper work.
Swedish Massage is used to create flow through the session and calm the nervous system.
Deep Tissue uses deep strokes with moderate to heavy pressure; and is commonly used to target problem areas, assist in relieving chronic pain and muscle tension, improve range of motion, and focus on outcomes from the session. Clients should expect “productive discomfort” during a session including deep tissue work.
Trigger Point Therapy uses deep targeted pressure to create an ischemic effect on muscle knots. Once released, fresh blood and nutrients floods the area allowing muscle to relax and aiding muscle knots work towards release.
Range of Motion and Assisted Stretching is used as both an assessment tool as well as guiding stretches that a client can generally perform at home as part of a self-care practice. Consistent stretching helps to mobilize, warm, and lubricate tissues; it’s optional homework between body work appointments meant to empower clients to take care of their bodies between bodywork sessions.
